University of Port-Harcourt wears the crown

The just concluded 24th annual NUGA games at Ife was a joy to behold for the students and staff of the University of Port-Harcourt as they won the competition with a whooping 50 gold medals over second placed University of Lagos (UNILAG).
The competition started on 11th of February and ended on 23rd of February which featured 7,000 athletes from 60 universities in the country. Below is the full medal table of the 1st ten schools.

FUTA, UNICAL, AAUA, FUPRE, EKSU, UNIAGRIC, FUNAAB, DELSU, NAU, KSU, BIU, UNIOSUN, OOU, CRUTECH, IMSU, NDU, UI, MOUAU, FUTMINA, FUTO, ESUT, ABSU, ATBU, IBB, ADSU, AAUE, UNIJOS, ASUTECH, EBSU, TASUED and UNIUYO all got on the medal table and finished 11th placed to 41st placed respectively.
